The Nationaal Archief (Dutch National Archives) is the ‘national memory’ of the Netherlands. We hold 110 kilometres of documents, photos and maps both from the central government, as well as from organizations and persons of national importance (past and present).

    Due to the successful results of the first Mutual Cultural Heritage Programme (2009-2012), the Dutch Ministry of Education, Culture and Science and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs decided to keep on joining forces in the field of international cultural cooperation: a new term for the MCH Programme, from 2013 till 2016, was agreed upon.
