National Archives of the Netherlands (Ministry of Education, Culture and Science)

Upon completion, each draft of a retention schedule is made available for a period of six weeks. Anyone – not just known ‘interested parties’ - can provide feedback on the schedule to the Director of the State Archives Service. The Director and other involved custodians work with the Council for Culture to analyse the responses and produce a recommendation, after which the records schedule can be finalised. Interested parties that are affected by changes in the final schedule may register objections with the administrative court (the ‘bestuursrechter’).
